This is an open-air event located in the garden, out the back of Tape Club.
Berlin-based The Whitest Boy Alive are known around town for not playing more then one show in the same location, so considering they play Berlin at most twice a year they have “dibbs” on some of the hottest spots.
It also seems to have become a tradition for TWBA to be the first on location, opening the Tape Gallery two years ago, last spring the new Astra Kulture House and now the Tape Garden. The space behind Tape Club (11,000 square meters) has been storage space for 114 wall pieces left over from the old Berlin Wall which ran along the canal behind the club.
